Ryan Bolin

At the 2016 Canadian Association of Physicists (CAP) Conference - receiving the award for the: 'DIMP (Division of Instrumentation and Measurement Physics) Best Overall Student Presentation competition. Presenting it to me is Arthur McDonald - the 2015 winner of the Physics Nobel Prize.
I have written of how when people have recovered from Lyme Disease that they usually go full speed ahead and not look back. Well I have to admit I am one of those people. Especially when our family of 6 were all good to go and back to a normal life with our health back in check.
I am just now reading over some of the blogs. Much of the insightful and deeper messages came from Ryan. At the time we didn't include his name as he didn't want it to conflict with his Physicist studies in Canada. I really didn't ask questions as I was just so grateful that he shared with me all he knew. He had ordered the Cinnamon and swore by it. He felt like it was the reason for his Lyme leaving him. Ryan Bolin ended up dying of Brain Cancer which just breaks my heart as I never really knew how bad he had gotten.
It has been 3 years since death and his passing is still very sad. I never got to meet him but we talked on the phone often. I just wanted to dedicate this page to Ryan Bolin, a genius, an incredibly gifted loving person. Thanks for all you have done! Miss you Ryan Bolin <3
